{"id":1751,"date":"2024-12-16T18:50:54","date_gmt":"2024-12-16T23:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/liclblog.townoflongisland.us\/?p=1751"},"modified":"2024-12-16T18:57:51","modified_gmt":"2024-12-16T23:57:51","slug":"borrowed-christmas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/liclblog.townoflongisland.us\/?p=1751","title":{"rendered":"Borrowed Christmas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Currently on exhibit at the Long Island Community Library is another brilliant display from the clever mind of Karen Boss, the small glass case curator: Borrowed Christmas, which showcases part or all of creches or nativity sets belong to Long Islanders. This is a great exhibit on many levels, especially for those of us who have incomplete creches, or have figures that are broken. But put together we can create a complete creche &#8211; very symbolic of life itself.
