Diehl for \u201cSeventeen: Book One\u201d in speculative fiction; Lincoln Paine for \u201cThe Sea and Civilization\u201d in nonfiction; Peter Korn for \u201cWhy We Make Things and Why it Matters\u201d in memoir; Christian Barter for \u201cIn Someone Else\u2019s House\u201d in poetry; Lynn Plourde for \u201cYou\u2019re Wearing THAT to School?!\u201d in children\u2019s; Maria Padian for \u201cOut of Nowhere\u201d in young adult; Martha White for \u201cE.B. White on Dogs\u201d in anthology; Reeser Manley and Marjorie Peronto for \u201cNew England Gardener\u2019s Year\u201d in the John N. Cole Award for Maine-themed nonfiction; and Elizabeth W.
